Sales Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Coordinator to join our team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role bridges the sales, customer service and operations functions, ensuring smooth order processing and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and WhatsApp in a professional manner.
• Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system, preparing quotations and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with stores, dispatch and finance to guarantee timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases and CRM information.
• Follow up on pending payments, deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
• Handle customer complaints, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
• Support the sales team with tender documentation, marketing materials and event organization.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate availability to relevant departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales administration, coordination or customer service.
• Experience with ERP and sales/CRM software is an advantage.
