Sales Representative - Mombasa

About the role

Rivertree Fine Foods is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote its honey range across Mombasa and the wider Coastal region. You will build relationships with retailers, hotels, wholesalers and other outlets, turning leads into repeat customers.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell honey products to retailers, supermarkets, hotels, wholesalers and other outlets across Mombasa and the Coastal region.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and customer accounts.
• Conduct regular follow‑ups with existing clients to maintain relationships and encourage repeat orders.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Provide product information, pricing and promotional support to customers.
• Monitor stock levels at client locations and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Gather market feedback and intelligence on customer preferences, competitor activity and pricing trends.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including visit reports, sales figures and pipeline updates.
• Represent the company brand professionally during all client interactions.
• Handle basic customer queries, complaints and after‑sales support, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field (degree is an advantage).
• 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or food products.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Mombasa.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Good knowledge of the Mombasa and Coastal market is a plus.
• Ability to travel within the Coastal region as needed.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, reporting tools).
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
