About the role
Hasibu is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to drive adoption of its financial operating system among small and medium‑sized enterprises in Kenya. Based on‑site in Nairobi, you will identify, qualify and convert SME prospects, delivering product demos and proposals that showcase Hasibu’s fintech solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify and manage a sales pipeline of SME clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored financial solutions to decision‑makers.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts in line with company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, leads and performance metrics in the CRM.
- Collaborate with product and customer‑success teams to relay client feedback.
- Represent Hasibu at client meetings, events and partner engagements.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required profile
- Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in software, fintech or financial products targeting SMEs.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English; Swahili or other regional languages are a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Competence in basic productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
