About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join a global leader in IT services on a contract basis. This remote position offers the chance to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance systems that power mission‑critical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize backend services for performance and scalability.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best‑practice standards.

Required profile

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
