Senior Electrical Engineer – Industrial Design

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of industrial and manufacturing facilities. The role involves delivering accurate 3D and 2D design documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and coordinate electrical design deliverables for industrial projects using Aveva E3D.
• Prepare 2D electrical drawings in AutoCAD from model extracts and project standards.
• Design layouts for equipment, raceways, cable routing, lighting, grounding, control rooms and produce single‑line diagrams and schematics.
• Use Navisworks and E3D to detect interferences and support interdisciplinary coordination.
• Support drawing checks, redline incorporation, field walkdowns and as‑built updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive electrical design experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical or power facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 / National Electrical Code and its application.
• Ability to work independently, meet project schedules and deliver constructible documentation.

Required skills

• Aveva E3D – 3D electrical modeling and coordination.
• AutoCAD – 2D drawing production.
• Navisworks – model review and clash detection.
• Microsoft Office – documentation and reporting.
• NFPA 70 / National Electrical Code compliance.
