About the role
The Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance (Audits & Coordination) will support the CAMO engineering department in maintaining continuous regulatory compliance and safety standards. The role involves planning audits, monitoring compliance, and coordinating quality activities across internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Uphold safety and security policies within the engineering CAMO department in line with airworthiness requirements.
- Organise and implement the approved audit programme to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Manage audit findings, track corrective and preventive actions, and report compliance status to senior management.
- Support IATA pool programmes such as IFQP and IDQP, and assist with aircraft registration and apparatus assignment applications.
- Implement a compliance monitoring framework to identify non‑conformities with CAAM regulations, company policies and industry best practices.
- Maintain and control all QA documentation, ensuring it is up‑to‑date, accurate and accessible.
- Plan and coordinate Quality Review Meetings (QRMs) and Audit Review Meetings (ARMs), and maintain related records.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory activities, route registration and airport requirements.
Required profile
- Diploma and degree in Science, Safety, Engineering or a related aviation engineering field.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Completion of mandatory and qualifying courses as per CAME 00‑05‑00.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aviation sector.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (CAAM, IOSA) and maintenance regimes.
- Experience implementing and auditing test methodologies and QA standards.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports related to maintenance issues.
- Ability to work independently, manage pressure and meet deadlines.
- Data‑driven decision‑making and problem‑solving mindset.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
