Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead cost management for real‑estate development projects, ensuring financial performance aligns with project goals. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee budgeting, contract administration and procurement activities across residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and project budgets.
• Monitor and control project costs, producing regular financial and cost performance reports.
• Administer construction contracts, evaluate variations and process interim and final payments.
• Lead procurement processes, including tender preparation, evaluation and contractor selection.
• Conduct site measurements, valuations and cost control activities to keep projects within budget.
• Advise management on commercial risks, value engineering and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Registered Quantity Surveyor with BORAQS and member of IQSK.
• 8‑10 years of experience in real‑estate or property development, with at least 5 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects.
• Professional certification in Procurement, Project Management or Contract Management is a plus.
