Service Planner – Customer Service Operations

About the role

As a Service Planner in the Customer Service Operations (CSO) team, you will enhance customer satisfaction by allocating jobs promptly and ensuring timely service delivery. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will handle incoming calls, schedule service orders, and act as the liaison between service staff and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and schedule internal and external service orders, maintaining minimal work‑in‑process levels.
• Plan service jobs two months ahead, ensuring parts are ordered and ready.
• Schedule field service engineers (FSE), pick required parts, and monitor leave schedules.
• Provide regular status updates to customers and follow up on preventive maintenance leads.
• Coordinate service contract management with the aftermarket sales team and support installed‑base experts.
• Participate in inventory management together with the logistics team.
• Promote a safe working environment, accurate time‑booking, and incident reporting for FSEs.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Service Planner or in a similar role.
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business.
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using PowerBI.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
