Service Technician – Security & Low‑Voltage Systems

About the role

CBX Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to install, service, and maintain security and low‑voltage systems for our customers. You will work on access control devices, electrified door hardware, surveillance cameras, and cable pathway infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain access control devices and electrified door hardware.
• Install, service, and maintain surveillance cameras and related equipment.
• Install, service, and maintain low‑voltage cable pathways supporting security and network systems.
• Maintain company‑owned tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other service team members and follow all safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as required, including after‑hours support.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in physical security, IT, or electronics.
• Experience configuring access control and surveillance systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and at least 21 years old.
• Successful background check and drug screening.

Required skills

• Access control system configuration.
• Surveillance camera installation and troubleshooting.
• Low‑voltage cabling installation and maintenance.
• Use of measuring tape, level, and other installation tools.
