Sewing Machine Technician (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Sewing Machine Technician to join our Nairobi team. The role involves repairing, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of sewing machines used by our customers across multiple branches.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic, industrial, manual, and computerized sewing machines.
• Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and thorough inspections.
• Replace defective parts and test machines to confirm proper functionality.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support to customers.
• Maintain accurate repair logs, parts usage records, and maintenance reports.
• Organise tools, equipment and monitor spare‑parts inventory.
• Assist other branches (Thika, Ngong) with urgent repair needs.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or relevant technical training in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience repairing and servicing sewing machines.
• Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
