Shop Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Shop Attendant to join our retail team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be the face of the store, providing professional service and ensuring customers find the right products for their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, professional service to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers in selecting suitable products based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑merchandised sales area.
• Ensure accurate stock levels through proper shelving, rotation, and inventory awareness.
• Support receiving, checking, and stocking of incoming deliveries.
• Keep up‑to‑date product knowledge, including brands, pricing, pack sizes, and promotions.
• Explain product features, specifications, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Process sales orders and transactions accurately using point‑of‑sale systems.
• Assist with sales initiatives, promotions, and product launches.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in any business‑related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Team player with flexible availability, including weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
