Shopify Designer & Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Shopify Designer who can also support our marketing initiatives. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, you will build and optimise Shopify stores from the ground up while contributing to social media and email campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Shopify websites from scratch using themes and apps.
• Customize Shopify themes to reflect brand identity and improve user experience.
• Install, configure, and optimise Shopify apps for performance.
• Update, maintain, and refresh existing stores to boost design, usability and conversions.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness, site speed and SEO best practices, including meta tags.
• Collaborate on branding, layout and visual storytelling to enhance the customer journey.
• Create and schedule social media content.
• Design email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
• Support promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Analyse website performance data and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing Shopify websites with a portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, apps and customisation.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Shopify Liquid (preferred).
• Experience with UX/UI design principles and conversion optimisation.
• Familiarity with eCommerce tools, integrations and email marketing platforms.
• Ability to create content for social media platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Located within commuting distance of Jacksonville, Florida.
