About the role

The Shopify Developer will design, build, and maintain high‑quality software solutions for our e‑commerce platform. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best software. You will test your code, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality. In addition, you will support customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Detect and troubleshoot software issues across Shopify applications.
• Write clear, quality code for software and applications and conduct test reviews.
• Develop, implement, and test APIs that integrate with external services.
• Provide input and collaborate on broader software development projects.

Required profile

• Comfortable working with programming languages and relational databases.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• At least 3 years of professional development experience.
