Site Logistics Officer

About the role

The Site Logistics Officer will manage the flow of materials, tools and equipment between the central warehouse and active project sites in Nairobi. You will ensure accurate record‑keeping, timely requisitions and smooth coordination with transport providers to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation of materials, tools and equipment to and from project sites.
• Maintain accurate site‑level records of issued, received and returned items, reconciling with project trackers.
• Monitor inventory levels, raise requisitions and prevent stock‑outs.
• Schedule deliveries and pick‑ups with drivers, riders and transport partners.
• Inspect incoming goods for quantity and condition, reporting any discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, security and organization of site assets.
• Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishment.
• Support site supervisors with logistics planning for mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Update asset and tool registers and produce regular logistics reports.
• Adhere to EHS and safety standards during loading, unloading and transport.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, store or site coordination, preferably in telecommunications, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to maintain stock records and reconcile inventory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
