Site Reliability Engineer (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (LInE) to join a leading software development organization on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on building and maintaining high‑availability systems that deliver seamless experiences to end users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for critical services and applications.
• Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Monitor system health, analyze metrics, and optimize resource utilization for cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands‑on knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable services.
