Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a global technology leader focused on high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The position is fully remote and offers the chance to work on mission‑critical backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a distributed micro‑services environment.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best‑practice standards.
• Profile, debug, and optimise system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ship features on schedule.

Required profile

• New‑grad or junior‑level professional with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional remote team.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience or familiarity with distributed systems, micro‑services, and cloud‑native development.
• Knowledge of relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases and performance tuning.
• Comfort with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
