About the role

The Department of Biomedical Engineering invites applications for Specialist Series positions focused on tissue engineering. These roles provide research and training opportunities across multiple laboratories.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research in tissue engineering within the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
• Collaborate with multiple laboratories on projects covering musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, immunoengineering, biomaterials, neuroengineering, urinary and gastrointestinal, or spatial cell biology.
• Participate in training and mentorship activities for students and post‑doctoral researchers.
• Seek and manage extramural funding to support research programs.

Required profile

• Earned B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or biology.
• Demonstrated experience in at least one of the listed tissue‑engineering focus areas.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to comply with university policies.
