Stage Structures Engineer

About the role

CCS is seeking a motivated individual to support the design and assessment of bespoke stage and touring structures. You will work on a variety of temporary constructions, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in primary design of custom stage structures and touring rigs.
• Evaluate modified standard products from a range of suppliers.
• Prepare site‑specific engineering reports and loading documentation for each event.
• Calculate ballast loads and perform wind assessments in line with Eurocodes and event industry guidance.
• Collaborate with clients to develop practical, safe designs for temporary installations.

Required profile

• Interest in structural engineering and temporary event constructions.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Good communication skills for client interaction.
