About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified STEM researcher to work remotely on a full‑time basis. In this position you will design and solve challenging STEM problems that probe the limits of large language models, delivering clear, step‑by‑step solutions with well‑articulated reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve advanced STEM problems to evaluate large language model capabilities.
• Create high‑quality, step‑by‑step solutions with explicit reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problems with evaluation goals, focusing on abstraction, multi‑step reasoning, and symbolic manipulation.
• Help define new evaluation benchmarks based on physics curricula ranging from early undergraduate to PhD‑level topics.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analytical capabilities and support future‑proof career growth in an AI‑first environment.

Required profile

• Ph.D., post‑doctoral or Master’s level expertise in a STEM discipline.
• Strong analytical skills comparable to engineering entrance exams or graduate‑level studies.
• Ability to break down complex STEM concepts into clear, simple explanations.
• Creative, lateral thinking to address novel challenges.
• Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
