Supermarket Supervisor – Retail Operations

About the role

The Supermarket Supervisor will lead daily store operations, ensuring a clean, organized and customer‑friendly environment. This full‑time position reports to senior management and plays a key role in driving store performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and merchandising standards.
• Supervise, coach and schedule store staff, monitoring attendance and performance.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate replenishment and control stock losses.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolve complaints and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Supervise cash handling, perform daily reconciliations and ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene policies.
• Prepare daily operational and sales reports and communicate performance insights to management.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field.
• Minimum two years of supervisory or managerial experience in a supermarket or retail setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage store operations effectively.
