Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to support real‑estate development and construction projects in Mombasa. Reporting to the Project Manager or Resident Engineer, you will ensure that all site work is accurately set out and complies with approved drawings and coordinates.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct land, topographical and construction site surveys.
• Perform setting‑out and leveling works for building activities.
• Verify measurements, coordinates and boundaries against design documents.
• Operate surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS and leveling instruments.
• Prepare survey reports, field notes and measurement records.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Monitor site progress and provide technical survey support.
• Carry out as‑built surveys and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying, Geospatial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction or real‑estate development projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods and equipment.
• Proficiency in survey software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
