Technician – FTTH

About the role

The FTTH Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining fiber‑to‑the‑home connections, ensuring reliable service and high‑quality workmanship. You will work on both new installations and fault resolution, providing timely support to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install FTTH fiber optic cables and customer premises connections.
• Perform fiber splicing and termination as required.
• Test and troubleshoot fiber links and network faults.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on FTTH infrastructure.
• Resolve customer connectivity issues within agreed timelines.
• Follow technical standards and safety procedures during all activities.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs and test results.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in FTTH or fiber‑optic installations.
• Practical knowledge of fiber splicing, termination and testing.
• Good understanding of FTTH network architecture.
• Strong technical aptitude combined with good customer service skills.
