Technology Activation Consultant

About the role

Clark Schaefer Consulting is seeking a Technology Activation Consultant who will act as a hands‑on technologist and trusted advisor to Fortune 1000 and high‑growth clients. You will design, build, and deploy custom software, automation, and AI‑enabled solutions using modern development stacks and AI‑assisted tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver custom applications aligned to client business needs.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, and SQL.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle from discovery to support.
• Integrate enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, BI) via APIs and middleware.
• Utilize Claude Code and other AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
• Build AI‑enabled features using LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Recommend emerging AI tools that create measurable client value.
• Develop automation solutions with Microsoft Power Platform and RPA technologies.
• Support IoT, control system, and hardware integration initiatives.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as technical liaison between clients and CSC teams, leading workshops and presentations.
• Manage multiple projects using agile methodologies and mentor junior consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in custom software development and system integration.
• Strong client‑facing communication skills.
