Telesales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Telesales Representative to join Nairobi Central Hardware Ltd, a supplier of hardware and safety‑wear products for construction, manufacturing and agriculture. You will engage prospective customers over the phone, promote our product range and help achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Contact and qualify leads through outbound calls.
• Present product features and benefits, addressing customer queries.
• Negotiate pricing and close sales while meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
• Maintain accurate records in our ERP/CRM system.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports.
• Provide after‑sales support and resolve customer issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service or a related field.
• At least one month of proven experience as a Telesales Representative.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets over the phone.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Calm and professional demeanor when handling objections.
• Problem‑solving orientation with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally ERP or similar ERP/CRM software.
• Customer service and relationship management.
• Sales strategy and performance tracking.
