Tile Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Tile Designer to help develop attractive, market‑relevant tile designs. The role involves creating patterns, colours, textures and layouts while collaborating with design, product development, marketing and sales teams. This entry‑level position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience who are passionate about tiles and interior design.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts for tile patterns, colours, textures and finishes.
• Create tile designs and layout plans based on product requirements and market trends.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards and visual concepts.
• Research current trends in tiles, interiors, colours and surface design.
• Adjust designs based on feedback from design and product development teams.
• Support the development of new tile collections and design concepts.
• Organise design files, drawings, samples and reference material.
• Review tile samples and provide feedback on colours, patterns, textures and finishes.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Architecture, Fine Arts or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; up to 2 years of relevant experience is a plus.
• Strong visual sense with good understanding of colour, patterns and composition.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn and incorporate feedback.
• Effective communication, teamwork and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar 3D design software.
