Training and Curriculum Development Coordinator

About the role

The Training and Curriculum Development Coordinator will lead the design, adaptation and delivery of curricula that support adult learning for illiterate and semi‑illiterate participants, while contributing to the organization’s broader learning agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, adapt and review training modules, materials and curricula for adult learners, including illiterate and semi‑illiterate participants.
• Lead curriculum development in response to changing economic and natural resource management contexts, participating in program design, needs assessments and workforce development.
• Manage training evaluation processes, report on training activities, and incorporate lessons learned to improve delivery.
• Coordinate the Graduation Centre of Excellence, maintaining physical and electronic inventories, scheduling trainings, and ensuring a clean, learner‑friendly environment.
• Facilitate Training‑of‑Trainers (TOT) workshops for Boma and partner staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Education, Social Sciences, Natural Resource Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum three years of experience in curriculum development and training delivery, preferably in adult education, social‑behavior change or community development.
• Professional qualification in Training‑of‑Trainers is a plus.
• Experience in the NGO sector is advantageous.
