Universal Banker – Diani

About the role

We are looking for a Universal Banker to join our Diani branch and deliver an excellent customer experience while driving business growth and profitability. The role combines sales, risk management and service excellence in line with Absa Bank’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers, cross‑sell retail and business banking products, and grow wallet share in line with branch targets.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML and internal control policies, manage portfolio risk and oversee accurate booking of fees and commissions.
• Maintain high service standards, meet turnaround‑time targets for account onboarding and loan processing, and monitor NPS scores.
• Support the branch manager in people development, training planning and succession management to sustain productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Familiarity with a range of banking products (checking, savings, loans, credit cards) and a proven record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong attention to detail, high sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure while delivering quality output.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on internal customer service excellence.
