US Freight Sales Associate – Outbound Account Executive

About the role

We are looking for an aggressive, results‑driven US Freight Sales Associate based in Nairobi. You will work during US operating hours to generate outbound revenue across North American freight lanes, acting as a strategic logistics partner for manufacturers, distributors and retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Make 50+ cold calls and multi‑channel outreach daily to US shippers to build a high‑volume freight pipeline.
• Price freight lanes using market spot rates (DAT/Truckstop) and negotiate profitable quotes to close new accounts.
• Manage client relationships, secure recurring loads, resolve service issues and upsell additional freight modes.
• Collaborate with dispatch and carrier sales teams to ensure efficient coverage and target margins.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records, quotes and pipeline stages in the CRM.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of outbound B2B sales experience, preferably in freight brokerage, 3PL or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of US geography, major freight lanes and spot‑market dynamics.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly gross‑margin targets.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication with confidence pitching US executives.
• Full commitment to the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM EAT shift.
