Warehouse Assistant

About the role

The Warehouse Assistant will support efficient warehouse and inventory operations by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, handling, recording and issuance of stock. This role contributes to maintaining organized, clean, and well‑controlled warehouse environments while assisting procurement and logistics activities as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record incoming stock and materials.
• Organise and properly store warehouse items.
• Issue stock against authorised requests and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain proper documentation for warehouse transactions.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages or discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse organised, clean and properly controlled.
• Support procurement and logistics activities as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant warehouse, procurement or logistics experience.
• Good understanding of inventory and warehouse procedures.
• Strong organisational and record‑keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness and ability to work in Kisaju.
