Warehouse Keeper / Forklift Operator

About the role

The Warehouse Keeper / Forklift Operator will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations for electrical and solar products. This full‑time, onsite role ensures that inventory is accurately tracked, goods are safely moved, and the warehouse remains organized and compliant with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage warehouse inventory, including products, demo units, cabinets, spare parts, materials, and installation accessories.
• Operate forklifts to load, unload, stack, and organize goods efficiently.
• Perform receiving, dispatching, stock transfers, stock counts, and inventory recording.
• Prepare materials for store construction, customer deliveries, after‑sales service, and marketing activities.
• Maintain records of display systems, cabinets, promotional materials, and spare parts.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times.
• Support local logistics, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and issue reporting.
• Report stock levels, low inventory, and discrepancies to management and the Sales & Operations Assistant.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Certificate.
• At least two years of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or electrical/solar product warehousing.
• Forklift driving skills are mandatory; certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, stock control, inventory management, and safety procedures.
• Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to communicate well in English (Kiswahili preferred).
