Application Manager – Insights-2-Action Project

About the role

The Application Manager will support the Insights‑to‑Action (I2A) project from the MSF Eastern Africa office in Nairobi. This role focuses on implementing and scaling a Jira‑based Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that captures, prioritises, and tracks technical recommendations across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the existing Jira‑based MVP in three to five OCG countries, ensuring HQ‑to‑Country recommendations are systematically recorded and actioned.
• Extend the MVP to support Coordination‑to‑Project workflows with appropriate access segregation.
• Design and test functional prototypes for other operational directorates to assess shared‑platform feasibility.
• Coordinate with technical experts, country teams, and project managers to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with MSF safeguarding and data protection policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing digital applications or tools in multi‑country or humanitarian settings.
• Familiarity with project coordination and stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with a commitment to MSF’s values and safeguarding standards.
