Architectural Engineer – Nairobi

About the role

We are looking for an Architectural Engineer to join our team in Nairobi. The role involves creating architectural designs, overseeing construction progress, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop architectural designs, drawings, and plans.
• Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Review construction drawings and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Monitor project implementation to ensure compliance with approved designs, timelines, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and design-related challenges during construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in architectural design and construction projects.
• Based in or willing to work in Nairobi.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
