Associate Software Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

Start your engineering career on a system that genuinely matters. As an Associate Software Engineer you will join the team building and supporting client‑facing applications for PrismHR, a leading HR, payroll and benefits platform.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the codebase, languages, tools and patterns through training, pairing and self‑study with senior engineers.
• Write, test, debug and document application code as part of a delivery team.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, including production questions escalated to engineering.
• Work with data through queries, analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
• Research new technologies and present recommendations to the team.
• Communicate progress and blockers clearly in team ceremonies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical aptitude and solid computer‑science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, databases).
• Ability to write and debug code in at least one programming language.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine appetite for continuous learning.
