Business Analyst - One Year Contract

About the role

The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between IT and business units, assessing processes, defining requirements, and delivering data‑driven recommendations to senior stakeholders. This is a one‑year contract position focused on strategic analysis and system enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, requirement definition, testing and ensure output accuracy.
• Identify, prioritize, and document technical and functional requirements.
• Monitor trends and business practices, providing regular operational control reports to senior management.
• Maintain specialist knowledge of products, processes, system rules, and interfacing systems.
• Ensure financial audit and control aspects of application systems.
• Plan and coordinate business process re‑engineering or improvement projects.
• Consult with departments to translate business needs into strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Economics, Banking, Strategic Management or related field.
• 4 + years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services.
• Experience with large, complex IT implementations and rollout projects.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analyst, PMP or Prince2 are an advantage.
