Business Development Representative – Security Systems

About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our fast‑growing security systems team in Nairobi. You will promote Teltonika’s advanced intrusion detection and building protection devices across East and West Africa, building strong B2B relationships and driving revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and assess potential in the region.
- Generate new sales through cold calling, networking and attending exhibitions.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and prospective customers via presentations, visits and daily contact.
- Prepare commercial offers, negotiate contracts and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM database and collaborate with technical support and product specialists.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in security technology.
- Strong understanding of the security systems market in East and West Africa.
- Excellent English communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Organised, results‑driven and comfortable travelling across the region.
