A leading International Academy in Nairobi is seeking a dedicated Cambridge Year 4 Class Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality, learner‑centred education using the Cambridge Primary Curriculum and foster an inclusive environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic and personal growth.
• Assess learners' progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learner progress reports.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding learners' progress.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.
• Uphold the school's policies, values, and safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• P1 Certificate.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education (Primary Option).
• Minimum of 7 years teaching experience in a Cambridge Primary School.
• Experience teaching Cambridge Primary Year 4.
• Sound knowledge of the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
