About the role
The Cleaning Supervisor will lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our hotel facilities. This full‑time position is based in Westlands, Nairobi, and reports directly to hotel management.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities of the staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and cleaning schedules to meet operational needs.
- Monitor staff performance, provide guidance, and conduct regular inspections.
- Manage cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies efficiently.
- Identify and resolve cleanliness or hygiene issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and hygiene standards.
- Prepare cleaning reports and communicate issues to management.
Required profile
- Diploma in Housekeeping, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cleaning supervision or housekeeping.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate and coordinate cleaning staff effectively.
- Female candidates preferred.
