College Principal & Hospitality Lecturer

About the role

The institution is seeking a dynamic leader who will serve as both College Principal and Hospitality Lecturer. You will provide strategic academic leadership while also delivering practical food‑and‑beverage training to students.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation and evaluation of all academic programmes.
• Monitor campus performance, teaching standards and drive pedagogical improvement.
• Manage student learning programmes, progress tracking and disciplinary matters.
• Supervise internal and external examinations and ensure timely results.
• Recruit, mentor and evaluate teaching and non‑teaching staff.
• Run daily institutional activities, including scheduling and timetabling.
• Maintain compliance with government, university and accreditation regulations.
• Represent the college to alumni, donors, community and industry partners.
• Develop industry links for student internships and placements.
• Deliver practical hospitality courses, including food production, barista skills and pastry/bakery workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business or Administration.
• Minimum five years in a senior leadership role such as Deputy Principal or Administrator.
• Valid TVETA Trainer/Assessor Licence for vocational institutions.
• At least two years of teaching experience in hospitality subjects.
• KNEC Diploma in Food & Beverage Management (KTTC qualification is a plus).
