Community Mobilizer - Health

About the role

The Community Mobilizer will support the implementation of a Global Fund TB project at the sub‑county level, strengthening community awareness, facilitating data collection, and building local capacity to improve TB service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing the Global Fund TB project activities within assigned sub‑counties.
• Raise community awareness and promote uptake of TB services through sensitisation campaigns.
• Collaborate with community groups, TB champions, and health actors to influence decision‑makers.
• Monitor community‑led interventions, verify data on a monthly basis, and compile activity reports.
• Collect and manage forms, vouchers, and monitoring summaries for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Mobilise and train community groups on the TIBU App, TB regimens, and related health topics.
• Document impact stories and human‑interest narratives for the Global Fund project.

Required profile

• Experience working on community health projects, preferably in TB or infectious disease programs.
• Familiarity with sub‑county level health systems and community engagement processes.
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure timely utilisation of resources.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills.
