Construction Project Operations Coordinator

About the role

This remote contractor position supports the day‑to‑day coordination and administration of construction and energy‑efficiency projects for a partner company. Based in Kenya, you will track projects from active status through scheduling, documentation, state submissions, and final closeout, ensuring smooth workflow across multiple initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review each active construction project to determine status, outstanding actions, and next steps.
• Identify delayed projects, missing information, or incomplete documentation and escalate when needed.
• Validate contracts, approvals, scopes of work, and supporting documents for completeness.
• Create and monitor internal tasks, follow up on assignments, and maintain visibility across the portfolio.
• Generate work orders, support scheduling of approved construction work, and track milestones.
• Enter and update project data in the New York State program platform and ensure alignment with internal CRM records.
• Prepare closeout materials (photos, completion documents, customer attestations) and submit them for state review and payment.
• Maintain accurate records in Zoho CRM and organize project files, flagging discrepancies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in project coordination, operations, project management, or business support.
• Strong background in construction, home‑services, construction administration, or project closeout is preferred.
• Ability to review contracts and documentation for consistency.
