Construction Supervisor

About the role

Victory Farms is seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead and coordinate construction activities at its facilities in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Supervise and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, and other staff.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and manage construction schedules to achieve timely task completion.
• Oversee allocation and use of resources, including materials and equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain accurate daily activity records, progress reports, and related documentation.
• Provide training and mentorship on safety procedures and best practices.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to the allocated budget.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• In‑depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem‑solving and organizational capabilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with construction plans.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of specifications.
