Cybersecurity Trainer

About the role

The Cybersecurity Trainer will lead practical learning on core security concepts, tools, and professional practices. You will create safe lab environments, mentor learners through security projects, and link technical lessons to real‑world organizational risks and controls.

Key responsibilities

• Teach networking security, threat analysis, ethical hacking, incident response, and governance.
• Design and supervise practical labs, simulations, and learner assessments.
• Guide students on ethical, legal, and professional cybersecurity practice.
• Keep training materials current with emerging threats, tools, and standards.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools, Linux, networking, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CCNA Security or CISSP (advantage).
• Experience facilitating technical training or mentoring learners.
• Strong communication, documentation and classroom management skills.
