Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer

About the role

We are looking for a creative, motivated and customer‑focused Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer to join our growing fragrance brand Velva Glow. The role involves creating engaging content, maintaining our brand image online and supporting digital marketing activities to boost awareness and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other platforms, plan and maintain a regular content calendar.
• Create, edit and publish posts, photos, videos, Reels and Stories, and monitor comments, messages and mentions.
• Produce basic product photos and short‑form videos using a smartphone and assist with larger photography projects.
• Engage with customers via social media and WhatsApp Business, providing product information and converting inquiries into sales.
• Support Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns and monitor basic performance metrics.
• Collaborate with influencers, content creators and marketing partners for campaigns and promotions.
• Help organise promotional events, product launches and pop‑up activities.
• Track competitors, market trends and report insights to the management team.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management or customer engagement.
• Strong written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
• Creative, energetic, organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Previous exposure to beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, fashion or FMCG is an advantage.
