Electromechanical Technician – AMO (Drilling Services)

About the role

The AMO Electromechanical Technician will join Baker Hughes' Drilling Services AMO team to support the assembly, testing, maintenance and overhaul of cutting‑edge drilling equipment. You will work on down‑hole tools and surface instrumentation, ensuring reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Assist with repairs, scheduled and preventive maintenance on factory equipment.
• Perform quality‑assurance activities in line with manufacturing, engineering specifications and ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting.
• Support maintenance and reliability initiatives for electro‑mechanical drilling tools.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant degree.
• 3‑4 years of maintenance experience in an electro‑mechanical drilling environment.
• Previous experience with Baker Hughes is preferred.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong problem‑identification skills and ability to develop solutions.
