Field Engineer – CWI (Kenya)

About the role

As a Field Engineer you will act as the primary link between on‑site crews and the client, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained and commissioned to the highest standards. You will work hands‑on at project sites across Kenya, supporting both technical execution and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members to deploy tools and services while liaising with customers and shore‑based Operations Managers.
• Provide hands‑on solutions to complex technical problems on the work site.
• Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment and product flows.
• Support tender processes through data analysis, cost estimation and invoicing activities.
• Participate in job‑shadowing programs to gain a holistic view of the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Kenyan citizenship with legal authorization to work in Kenya (no sponsorship required).
• Strong interpersonal abilities, teamwork orientation and capacity to guide others.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, numerical aptitude, data analysis and project‑management capabilities.
