Field Officer – UN‑Habitat Projects

About the role

The Field Officer will support UN‑Habitat’s EUNDICI and JSB operations in the Dadaab–Hagadera Municipality. The role focuses on strengthening field presence, building government relationships, and coordinating partnerships to advance project implementation and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand field presence in the municipality.
• Develop and sustain relationships with local government officials.
• Coordinate partnerships with NGOs, community groups, and other stakeholders.
• Document stakeholder engagements and collect contextual data.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to support project objectives.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with project reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Experience working in field‑based humanitarian or development projects.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
• Knowledge of local context in Dadaab–Hagadera Municipality.
