Field Operator – TCP/Wireline

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Operator specialized in TCP/Wireline services to support customers on‑site. You will work directly at wellsites and in the shop, following established procedures and safety standards while delivering reliable wireline operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and operate wireline winches and surface equipment.
• Rig up and rig down TCP equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre‑operational checks on wireline units and associated tools.
• Assist with the preparation of risk assessments and Permit to Work documentation.
• Repair and maintain pressure control equipment under supervision.
• Support down‑hole tool maintenance and basic well‑head tasks.
• Prepare operational reports for on‑shore and off‑shore use.
• Participate in client QHSE meetings and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in wireline TCP service delivery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven safety focus.
• Experience handling explosives.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid local certifications and medical clearance as required.
