About the role
CloudFactory is looking for a General Data Annotation Specialist to join its Nairobi team. You will work on labeling, classifying, and extracting information from diverse datasets while ensuring high accuracy and consistency.
Key responsibilities
- Review and annotate data according to detailed guidelines.
- Label, classify, or extract information from datasets with high accuracy.
- Maintain quality and productivity targets.
- Identify edge cases, inconsistencies, or unclear data.
- Follow feedback and continuously improve annotation quality.
- Collaborate with reviewers and project leads when needed.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Good problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
- Comfortable working on repetitive, accuracy‑focused tasks.
- Ability to follow structured guidelines precisely.
- Reliable, organized, and quality‑driven.
- Good English reading and comprehension.
- Basic digital literacy with spreadsheets and online tools.
- Typing accuracy and efficiency.
- Previous experience in data annotation or data entry is a plus.
