Growth Marketing Intern

About the role

We are seeking a data‑driven Growth Marketing Intern to own acquisition and retention experiments for an African health‑tech venture. You will design, launch, and optimise multi‑channel campaigns while learning core growth principles in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute multi‑channel campaigns across organic, paid social, email and community channels.
• Manage and grow our social media presence on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
• Analyse performance data, produce weekly KPI reports and present insights to leadership.
• Own the content calendar and coordinate with design and content teams.
• Run A/B tests on landing pages, CTAs and email sequences.
• Identify and engage healthcare influencers, journalists and community partners.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Curiosity about African healthcare challenges and a mission‑driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently, iterate quickly and handle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager (or equivalent analytics tools).
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals such as SEO, SEM, email and social media.
• Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot or Mailchimp is a plus.
