Head of Maintenance

About the role

The Head of Maintenance will lead the maintenance department, ensuring optimal performance of equipment, facilities and infrastructure across our construction projects. The role focuses on developing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, managing teams and budgets, and guaranteeing compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and programs.
• Supervise maintenance staff, contractors and external vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Manage maintenance budgets and optimise resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements through regular inspections and audits.
• Track KPIs, prepare performance reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance expertise.

• Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
